Youth Rally Archdiocesan Youth Rally Saturday, April 5, 2008 1 PM - 9 PM at St. Gregory's University, Shawnee High School Students Day with Archbishop Beltran Entertainment in the Evening is a Dance with "Big G" Also Rock Band, DDR, Guitar Hero and other games WORKSHOPS INCLUDE…… “Put Away Your PDA” by the St. Gregory’s Buckley Team Is an interactive breakout showing youth their choices for living a life of chastity. Youth will be given concrete examples and ideas for battling society and peer pressures when confronted with questions of how to behave in relationships with others. "Wii need to Pray” by Mike Patin Mike will be speaking about the importance of prayer in daily life. He’ll challenge youth to work on their prayer lives with others, as well as their private prayer time. “Is God Calling on your Cell?” by Sister Sylvia and Fr. Joe Arledge Father Arledge and Sister Sylvia will give personal witness to answering God’s call to serve Him. They’ll also answer questions youth may have concerning their own vocations. “Check Your Text” by the OU St. Thomas More Retreat Team Students from the University of Oklahoma will be on hand to teach the youth about the importance of having God in their everyday life.
