Confirmation Online Orientation
One of our goals is to have great communication with parents. We recognize that today's parent is juggling many things and time is often limited. Over the last several years of talking with different parents, we realize that the struggle to stay connected to the parish or youth office is NOT from a lack of desire. So this year we have discerned ways to try to COME TO YOU as often as we can. This is why we are using Flocknote this year to stay connected to both the parent and teen. Also, instead of only having one in-person parent meeting (where usually, we are lucky if the date happens to work for half of the parents) we have created this online orientation to get the information you would normally get (or miss) from the parent meeting.
This is our first year to have so many pieces accessible online so your feedback and suggestions are definitely appreciated. Please watch the videos below, read through the information provided and let us know if you have any questions. Also, feel free to explore the website regularly as we will continue to update all areas and hopefully make it a great resource for you and your family. Pray for us as we journey with the youth this year and know that we are praying for all of you.
God Bless, Amy

Orientaion Video #1 - WELCOME
A short (and silly) introduction of the staff. It was late but we had fun and look forward to meeting you in person. Please feel free to stop us and introduce yourself if you see us at mass or around the parish!

Orientaion Video #2 - PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
Featuring our AMAZING Confirmation Core Team!
Each clip is one of our catechists (called "core member") explaining one of the components in their own unique way. Several of the components have multiple dates or options to choose from. You will make these selections on the back of the registration form by circling your choices. More details on the options (ex: location of the service projects, dates for the ministry paricipation etc. will be sent out and updated to the website as they are confirmed but dates are set for your planning benefit) You are able to switch dates or selections if needed, but choices for the in-person sessions are open based on availiability of spots left for those classes.
PLEASE NOTE: It is not stated in the video, but it is required that the candidate receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation close to receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. You can go on a normal scheduled time as we get closer, but we will be scheduling a special Reconciliation Service just for the Confirmation Candidates. We will send that date once availability of the church is confirmed.
4 Monthly Components
4 Components to be met at some point in the year of preparation
Receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation before the Confirmaiton Mass
(date for a special Reconciliation Service just for the Candidates will be given soon)
Orientaion Video #3 is about the registration process.
It walks through the registration steps and form. Please click below and it will take you to a different page. Watch the video on the Sacrament of Confirmation and read through the recap of the registration process!
